GLOUCESTER, MASS. – NCAA Division III women's head coaches have recognized the top 24 hockey players in their division by selecting them as CCM Hockey/AHCA All-Americans for 2023-24. Four of those student-athletes hail from New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) institutions.

Elmira College had two honorees as Madi Morton garnered first-team defense recognition and Erika Goleniak earned second-team forward honors. Southern Maine goaltender Haley McKim earned second-team goaltender honors while Norwich University's Livia Brooks was named a first-team forward.

A 2023-24 New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) First Team All-Conference selection, Morton earned her second consecutive first-team selection for the Purple & Gold and her third overall All-NEHC recognition. The Colorado Springs, Colorado native paced the Elmira defensive core with 17 points and a +18 plus/minus rating through 25 games during the regular season.

Through five playoff games, Morton has helped anchor EC's defense to just three goals allowed including a pair of shutouts in the NEHC semifinals and finals. She has matched her career high this season with four goals scored while her 14 assists are one shy of her single season best of 15 during the 2021-22 season.

Leading the Soaring Eagles in goals, assists, and points throughout the regular season, Goleniak was named NEHC First Team All-Conference after tallying 10 goals and 11 assists through 18 conference games. The Canton, Michigan native has almost doubled her previous career high for goals in a season and is two assists behind her career-high of 20 that she notched during the 2022-23 season.

Through five postseason contests, Goleniak has scored a pair of goals to go along with three assists for the Purple & Gold. Goleniak ranks 27th in Division III with 1.07 points per game, while also ranking 34th in assists per game (0.60) and 46th in goals per game (0.47). Goleniak is on pace to be the first player to lead the team in goals, assists, and points since Emma Crocker '21 after the 2019-20 season.

McKim earned the third New England Hockey Conference Goaltender of the Year award of her career following her record-breaking 2023-24 season. Her seven shutouts and .958 save percentage this season are both program records. She also broke Jamnik's records for career shutouts and career saves. She holds a career record of 40-32-3 with 16 shutouts and 2382 saves.

During her stellar first year in maroon and gold, Brooks captured NEHC weekly honors six times during the season en route to being named Norwich's first-ever Conference Player and Rookie of the Year. After being held off the scoresheet for the first two games of the season, Brooks erupted for 14 points in November placing her atop the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) leaderboard in every offensive category and she did not look back. Most notably in that stretch, she notched her first career goal and hat trick on Nov. 10 against UMass Boston. Later in the season, on Jan. 6 against Salem State, Brooks became the ninth player in program history to record four goals in a game.
