NEHC Women's Weekly Honors - Week Thirteen

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) announced its weekly awards for games played through Sunday, February 16th. Elmira College’s Emily Lenzen (Littleton, Col.) and Norwich Unversity’s Jenna Nikles (Riley, Mich.) were tabbed Co-Players of the Week. UMass Boston’s Leah Bosch (Minnetonka, Minn.) was selected Goaltender of the Week while Norwich University’s Anna Lisac (Euclid, Ohio) garnered Rookie of the Week honors.

Co-Players of the Week

Emily Lenzen - Elmira College
(Senior, Forward - Littleton, Col.)
Lenzen tallied five points in a pair of wins against VTSU Castleton over the weekend. Lenzen recorded her first hat trick of the season on Friday, along with an assist in a 6-2 victory. Lenzen tallied the game-winning goal along with recording a pair of power-play goals on Friday. Lenzen added one assist on Saturday against the Spartans.

Jenna Nikles – Norwich University
(Junior, Forward - Riley, Mich.)
Nikles had an explosive week for the Cadets, totaling five points in a weekend sweep of NEC. She started with a powerplay goal and an assist in Friday's contest and followed that up with the game- winning goal on Saturday to go along with two assists.

Goaltender of the Week

Leah Bosch – UMass Boston
(Junior, Goaltender - Minnetonka, Minn.)
Bosch led the Beacon’s to a shutout win over William Smith on Friday. The junior netminder had a career performance with 32 saves in her sixth career clean sheet, including six saves in the third period during a 6-3 penalty kill.

Rookie of the Week

Anna Lisac – Norwich University
(Freshman, Forward - Euclid, Ohio)
Lisac's strong rookie campaign continued with a three-point week against NEC. The first-year forward tallied a goal and an assist on Friday and added another helper on Saturday.

HONOR ROLL

Molly Martin - Albertus Magnus College
(Sophomore, Defense - Buffalo, N.Y.)
Martin tallied three goals during a weekend sweep of Salem State. On Friday, she scored a shorthanded goal to get the Falcons on the board en route to a 2-1 victory. On Saturday, the sophomore defender buried both the game-tying and game-winning goals in the overtime win over the Vikings.
